Our instructors have a combined 70+ years of instrumental experience! We've been offering services to people of all ages in the Clovis area since 2015.
About Us
We offer comprehensive and affordable private and small group instruction in Piano and Guitar. Our instructors are passionate about music, and it brings us joy to be able to share this passion with our students. From the first lesson, students learn important foundational techniques to help them boost their skills and self-confidence. Sheri Carpenter
Sheri Carpenter is the owner of Making Melodies Music Studio and teaches piano in the studio. Sheri has played piano for over 50 years! She has taught piano lessons off and on over the past 30 years. Sheri also has 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher and has taught grades K-12 over the years. (You will see evidence of this when you look around the studio.) She decided 7+ years ago to leave public school teaching and open her own studio.
Kasey Carpenter
Kasey Carpenter is the guitar instructor at Making Melodies Music Studio. Kasey joined Making Melodies in September of 2018. Kasey has played guitar for over 20 years and enjoys teaching others to play guitar! Kasey has a music recording history and loves to write and perform his original music as well as covers of his favorite artists. He performs around town on occasion. Kasey is a single dad to an amazing 11 year old daughter. He works as a substitute teacher in the local public schools.
